Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a gym or a physical therapy clinic?
We’re not a gym, and we’re not a clinic—we’re the sweet spot in between. Siena Physio fills the gap between rehab and lifelong movement. Our group fitness classes bring the same energy and vibe as your favorite boutique studio—but with injury prevention programming built into every workout. We combine the best of movement science with thoughtful, resilient training to keep you strong for the long haul. Prefer a more individualized approach? Our 1:1 sessions keep your unique injury history front and center, every step of the way.
What is a MoveWell Assessment?
A 40-minute, physical therapist–led movement screen using objective strength and mobility tests to pinpoint your unique “hot spots” (areas for improvement) and give you clear, expert guidance on how to address them. Learn More.
What’s the difference between a MoveWell Assessment and a Physical Therapy session?
A MoveWell Assessment is a wellness-focused session designed to assess your strength, mobility, and movement patterns using objective data. It’s ideal for prevention, performance, and long-term resilience. A 1:1 Physical Therapy session is clinical and diagnostic—best for addressing pain or injury and developing a recovery plan.
Do MoveWell credits roll over if I miss a month?
MoveWell credits do not roll over and are non-transferable. We recommend booking monthly to get the most out of your membership.
Can I use insurance for physical therapy?
The physical therapists who partner with Siena Physio do not accept insurance directly, but they can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed—it's always best to contact your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network benefits for physical therapy. PT services are also typically eligible for reimbursement under most HSA and FSA plans.
What should I wear to my class or session?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in—think workout attire. Whether you’re coming to a class or a MoveWell assessment, we'll be analyzing how you move, so flexibility and ease are key.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the lot behind our building (accessible via Del Medio Ave), as well as street parking along Del Medio.
Can I gift a session or transfer my credit to a friend?
Credits for MoveWell Assessments and Physical Therapy sessions are non-transferable and must be used by the account holder. However, our class packages allow guest usage—so feel free to bring a friend and sweat it out together in one of our group classes!
I just finished physical therapy elsewhere—can I still come to Siena?
Absolutely! That’s exactly why we’re here. Siena helps bridge the gap between rehab and resilient, lifelong movement. Whether you’re joining our group fitness classes or working 1:1 in a private session, your injury history stays front and center in everything we do—so you can stay strong, mobile, and pain-free for the long run.
