This Privacy Policy explains how SienaPhysio, LLC, doing business as Siena ("Siena," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit sienaphysio.com (the "Site"), book a session, or contact us.

Physical therapy services are provided by a separate company, Stronger Physical Therapy, PC, doing business as Stronger by Siena ("Stronger"). Health information collected for physical therapy care, including through the Jane booking and records system, is collected and kept by Stronger and is governed by Stronger's Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us, including:

  • Contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number, when you sign up for our newsletter, fill out an intake form, book a session or email us.
  • Booking and account details, such as the services you book, your schedule and payment information. Payments are processed by our booking providers; we do not store full card numbers on the Site.
  • Health and fitness information you share on training intake forms or during a Strength Assessment, such as past injuries and training goals, so we can coach you safely.

We also collect some information automatically when you use the Site, such as your browser type, device, pages visited, referring website and general location, through cookies and similar technologies used by our website platform.

The "Where to Start" quiz on the Site runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or stored.

How we use your information

  • To schedule and provide training and Strength Assessments.
  • To communicate with you about your sessions, membership and questions.
  • To send our newsletter and studio updates, if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To process payments, keep records and meet legal obligations.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it.

Health information

We keep the health and fitness information you share with Siena confidential and use it only to provide and improve your training.

If you book physical therapy, your care and health records are handled by Stronger Physical Therapy, PC dba Stronger by Siena, which uses and discloses that information only as permitted by HIPAA and California law. You can read Stronger's Notice of Privacy Practices on this site or request a copy at any time by emailing us.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the business, such as Squarespace (website hosting and analytics) and Arketa (class booking, memberships, intake forms and newsletter). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Stronger Physical Therapy, PC dba Stronger by Siena, when you are referred to or book physical therapy, so your care can be coordinated.
  • Others when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Siena, our clients or others, or with your consent.

The Site links to other websites, such as Instagram and our booking pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Cookies and "Do Not Track"

Our website platform uses cookies to keep the Site working and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Third parties, such as our website and booking providers, may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use the Site.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to review, correct or delete the personal information you have given us, or to stop receiving marketing emails, by contacting us at the email address below. Physical therapy patients can request access to their health records from Stronger by Siena, as provided by law.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
